MEMBERSHIP CO-ORDINATOR ROLE
SET UP, MAINTAIN, UPLOAD Membership Data Base with all personal details, contact details plus membership type, rowing with comrades and coaches listed, rowing capability, emergency contacts, connections with club ie: storage with full description of same, whether other family are members etc
Mail merge set up for yearly membership and following mail outs. Take into account we will encourage and head towards email invoicing system wherever possible in the future.
I will need to send out info and request for this possibly with 2010-11 membership renewals, possibly as easy as Add a tick box to the membership renewal form for digital invoice. (A lot of people do not like the paper wastage and are happy for email invoicing)
Log of family members for all membership forms to be sent out together
Log of boat storage to be sent out with membership forms
Send out yearly renewal forms and regular monthly invoices aiming to get as many as possible to digital
Set up database of temporary rowers for insurance expiry dates and contact prior to this to encourage full membership. This includes LTR course participants and the learn to row through the schools system.
Communicate with RQ and align memberships with our data base and update, archive expired full and temporary memberships.
Liase with RQ re all our school members to be registered as GUSPRC members as well as their allotted school.
PS with this role it is possible that some of the general book keeping may be attached therefore helping out the treasurer
